Group gold digs at the Lucky Strike Gold and Gem mine, Vein Mountain, Marion, NC

All digs are 2 four hour shifts each day with a break for lunch. A front loader with operator and all ore Material for the plant is furnished. Generally the plant will process 4 front loads per hour. To receive more information or to schedule a group please go to the contacts page.

The VMRC Club digs are open to Club Members and a guest. These are 2 day digs, see the events page. The cost is $25.00 per person.

The Common Digs are open to the public. This is a 5 day event with hands on experience at mining for the ever elusive gold. All the gold that is recovered is split equally between the participants. The split is made on Saturday evening followed by a Potluck supper, and good fellowship. The cost is $100.00 per person.

Private Group Digs are a great way for family, coworkers or friends to get together and have a great time operating the wash plant and spliting the finds.The cost for a group is $650.00 per day with a two day minimum
